Musical Mondays! featuring The Songs of Robert Rokicki

Robert is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Actor's Equity and is an alumni of the Tony Award-winning BMI workshop. His musical, Love, NY (co-written with Mike Ruby) won the 2009 American Harmony award and was presented at Oklahoma University, New World Stages (NY) and Curtain Call (CT).
His songs have been featured in the York Theatre's NEO series, The Songbook Series at Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub and at universities internationally. Also with Ruby: Relativity (presented at Theatre Row), Polly Want a Mortgage? (Winner Best Musical, Best Book, Best lyrics at the West Village MT Festival) and 20 to Life (at American University). Rob is the composer/lyricist for Martha & Me (sold-out run at the NY Fringe) & Greatest Holiday Musical…Ever!
Broadway performers have sung his songs throughout New York and benefits across the country. He is a recipient of the Young Playwrights Competition at the Denver Center. Rob musically directed Departure Lounge at the Public Theatre and musically directed/arranged Joe Iconis’s ReWrite at Goodspeed.
As an actor, Rob understudied Magaldi in the Evita 25th Anniversary Tour directed by Hal Prince and was featured in the South Pacific Concert at Carnegie Hall. He has many Off-Broadway and regional credits (Carbonell Award Nomination for Gaston in Beauty & the Beast). Rob is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.
At the October 11th concert, Rob will be joined by Michael Scott (Hair, Tarzan, All Shook Up), Megan Reinking (Hair, Lestat), Amanda Flynn (Wicked, Mamma Mia!), Brian Gallagher (Wonderland), Anne Brummel (Wicked, Evita) and Nick Dalton (Legally Blonde, Hairspray).
